Provided an engineering framework for rapid prototyping of unmanned aerial systems and payload systems.
Functioned as solution engineer and project manager on cross functional new product initiatives (NPI) and cost down efforts as well as supported customers and the business team on payload development and testing strategies to rapidly demonstrate capabilities.
Developed regulatory compliance strategies for Federal Aviation Administration(FAA) regulatory requirements such as 14 CFR Part 89 Standard Remote ID and Automated Beyond Visual Line of Sight ground based detect and avoid solutions GBDAA like Terrestrial Acoustic Arrays and Radar.
Served as the Subject Matter Expert on the Concept of Operations and Threat Profile Development for the all-weather, night capable Counter Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS) Iron drone system.

Managed a nimble, cross functional team which developed novel small unmanned aerial systems, autopilot solutions for groups 2-4 UAS, unmanned ground vehicles and other defense solutions as part of government and privately funded new product initiatives (NPI).
Interfaced directly with government customers on contract and program management, as well served as the companies “primary investigator” and POC for Rapid Innovation Fund and Marine corps programs.
Served as the corporate liaison with the FAA, FCC, AVUSI, DARPA, the Georgia Center for Innovation Aerospace, the Georgia Governor’s Office UAS Working Group, and the Department of Energy Oak Ridge.

Subject Matter Expert on the Leptron Avenger/SCIX-10E UAS and one of two pilots permitted by the Department of Energy to perform ventilation stack inspections in radiologically contaminated areas.
Lead development of novel unmanned aircraft for use in subterranean environments and Counter UAS Interceptor aircraft. This included rapid prototyping of systems using the Ardupilot firmware and Cube Based autopilots to rapidly show capabilities in very short periods of time.
